There are worst things that I could do
    Than kiss you once or twice
I could tell you lies and make you hate me
    But that really wouldn't be very nice.
I could flirt with your best friend,
    Make you wonder where my heart lies
I could prove disloyal and jade
    I could fill your head with angry cries.
I could run and leave you alone
    Wipe my lips after we kiss
I could tell you that I never cared
    Or that you I never would miss.
There are worse things I could say
    Than to tell you you're my mister right
I could tell you that you were only for fun
    I could taunt you every night.
I could say that I never needed your smile
    Tell you that you had to leave
I could tell you that I hated you all along
    But it's something that I could never believe.
I could destroy myself before your eyes
    Sleep with a guy or maybe two
But to break down in front of you
    That's the worst thing I could do....
